Sachin Desarada

I'm a PhD in Materials Science at Savitribai Phule Pune University currently working on organic ReRAM device development. My research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of semiconductor materials like CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium Selenide), and metal oxides for applications in solar cells, photodetectors, and supercapacitors.

I specialize in thin film deposition techniques including sputtering, thermal evaporation, and electrodeposition. My work involves detailed structural, optical, and electrical characterization of these materials using techniques like XRD, SEM, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and electrical measurements. I'm particularly interested in understanding growth mechanisms and optimizing material properties for enhanced device performance.

I've published several papers on developing novel synthesis approaches for highly crystalline and compact thin films, studying their growth mechanisms, and investigating their applications in energy devices. My recent work focuses on improving the performance of supercapacitor electrodes using metal oxide composites and developing zero-bias photodetectors using CIGS thin films. I collaborate with researchers across multiple institutions to advance the field of energy materials.
